PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reducing medicine capable of promoting a lipolysis in fat-cell and providing an excellent reducing effect safely and useful for foods, drugs, cosmetic, and a quasi-drugs by including a scoparone as an effective component. SOLUTION: This reducing medicine is obtained by including (A) scoparone of e.g. 0.001 to 99 wt.% based on the whole medicine. The component A is obtained as follows: reaping an above-ground part of the plant of e.g. Compositae family, Rue family, or Orchid family, subjecting the part to solar drying, extracting it by using water, lower alcohol or the mixture thereof as an extracting solvent at a temperature of 4 to 120 deg.C, pref. room temperature to 60 deg.C for to 10 days, subjecting the obtained vegetable extracted liquid to e.g. silica column, fractional high-speed liquid chromatography for separation and purification. |
