PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform rescue-operation without a rotating sensor by estimating a magnetic-pole position from armature inductance of a permanent magnet rotator synchronous motor when the magnetic pole position can not be detected by the rotating sensor. SOLUTION: When an elevator stops by failure of a rotating sensor, armature current is measured first. Next, armature inductance is identified from the armature current and voltage value, and relative angle to armature current vector of a magnetic pole in estimated. Then, the armature current is measured in various directions of current vector. Moreover, armature inductance is identified and a magnetic-pole position is estimated by comparing values of the identified armature inductance. When rescue operation is started, the armature current vector is controlled using the estimated magnetic-pole position such that it is rotated by 90-degree from the magnetic-pole position. Thus, even when the rotating sensor failures, vector control can be performed in a permanent magnet rotator synchronous motor, and rescue operation can be performed. |
