PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for producing ionized water extremely easily when there is water and a portable kit used therefor. SOLUTION: Saline solution is brought into contact with an H-type strongly acidic cation-exchange resin or an OH-type strongly basic ion-exchanged resin to produce acidic ionized water or alkaline ionized water by this method. The powdery H-type strongly acidic cation-exchange resin or OH-type strongly basic ion-exchange resin and salt are put in separate containers 2 and 3, and the containers 2 and 3 are placed in one kit 1.
