<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper skew correcting mechanism which can realize skew correction for a large paper skew amount of 3 mm or above, prevent paper obstacle such as paper jamming and enable reliable paper conveying. SOLUTION: This paper skew correcting mechanism is a paper skew correcting mechanism in which a conveying roller 4 and a resist roller 1 are provided between a paper feeding part and a printing part, and when the tip end of a paper fed by the conveying roller 4 reaches the resist roller 1 which is in the stopped state, the resist roller 1 is driven after the paper 6 is fed out by a predetermined amount by the conveying roller 4 and sagging of the paper 6 is formed in front of the resist roller 1. In this case, in front of the resist roller 1, there are provided a skew amount measuring means 2 for measuring the paper skew amount and a roller pressure adjusting means 3 which has the feeding amount of the conveying roller 4 changeable by changing right and left pressure balance of the conveying roller 4 arranged in front of the resist roller 1 by its paper skew amount.</p> |
