The composition comprises a mixture of safflower oil (Carthamus tinctorius L.) and oil of parsley (Petroselinum sativum Hoffm., Petroselinum crispum Mill.), in a ratio by weight of safflower oil to oil of parsley of between 1 and 7. The composition can additionally contain oil of peppermint, menthol and chlorophyll. These compositions can be presented in a variety of forms, including sweets, chewing gums, toothpastes, mouthwashes and pharmaceutical compositions, for which they incorporate the additives, vehicles and excipients that are suitable for processing in the form of presentation desired. The composition is suitable for the treatment of halitosis.
