The antenna unit (2) has at least one antenna (22, 23) for sending and receiving radio communication signals and a transceiver unit (1) which incorporates a circuit packet (4) constructed from circuit modules (5), cooling equipment (6, 7, 8, 13, 14) for the circuit modules and a support plate (11) which supports the circuit packet. The installation is arranged for outdoors on a house (9) and the circuit packet is enclosed by a protective cover (8) and by the support plate. Air holes (13, 37, 39) are arranged in the casing formed by the protective cover and the support plate. Cooling air circulates from the external ambience through the air holes into the space (30, 31) between the cover and the circuit packet and through the circuit packet, then back through the air holes into the outer ambience. |
