PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control an electronic unit provided with a control sound input device with a control infrared ray output device by providing a control infrared ray input device and a control sound output device converting and outputting the control signal. SOLUTION: A control infrared ray-control sound conversion device has the control infrared ray input device 101 and the control sound output device 102. The control infrared ray input device 101 converts an input infrared ray containing a control infrared ray into an electric signal, extracts the infrared ray control signal corresponding to the control inferred ray from the electric signal, converts the infrared control signal into the corresponding control signal and outputs it. The control sound output device 102 converts the control signal from the control infrared ray input device into the sound control signal corresponding to it, converts the sound control signal into control sound so as to output it. When the control infrared ray-control sound conversion device is used, a television receiver controlled by control sound can be controlled with a former infrared ray remote commander. |
