<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of independently adjusting the caliper and stiffness of a photographic paper. SOLUTION: In this method, a laminate base is prepared. This laminate base includes a paper sheet having a Young's modules of 13,800 MPa-2,760 MPa in the longitudinal direction and a Young's modulus of 6,900 MPa-1,3800 MPa in the lateral direction and is provided with biaxial oriented sheets having Young's module of 690 MPa-5,520 MPa in the longitudinal/lateral directions respectively, on the both sides of the paper sheet. Then, the laminate base is coated with a photosensitive layer. Thus, a photographic image forming element having Newton's flexural rigidity of 150-250 mm and a caliper thickness of 0.18-0.28 mm is obtained.</p> |
