PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a route guidance employing a convenient map. SOLUTION: In a route guidance employing a convenient map, a point conformable to extraction conditions being set at an extraction condition setting section 11 is extracted from points on a recommended route and the name at that place is read out thus producing a convenient map data. At the same time, a detailed data concerning to the extracted point is read out thus producing a detailed list data. The convenient map data is delivered to an output unit 9 according to guide conditions selected at a guide condition selecting section 15. When the name of any one place on the convenient map is selected at a name of place selecting section 17, a detailed data concerning to a point identified by that name of place is displayed in a format selected at a display condition selecting section 18. According to the arrangement, the convenient map can be optimized according to the intension of a crew of a vehicle along with the display format of the convenient map and the detailed list. |
