PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a three-dimensional shape and to decrease the number of operation steps by inputting a still image obtained by photographing an object by an outward shape input part, and determining and extracting an outline by tracing the outline shape of the inputted still image. SOLUTION: A body whose three-dimensional shape desires to be generated is photographed by a digital still camera, etc., as an external medium and the still image obtained by the photography is inputted as still image data to a control part 6 through an outward shape input part 2 and displayed as, a still image at a display part 3. Then an operator traces the outline of the displayed still image by using a mouse and then an outline shape extraction part 11 extracts the outline shape of the generation object body and an outline determination part 12 determines the outline to obtain outline shape data on the generation object body. Consequently, the number of operation steps can be decreased and the operation efficiency can be improved. |
