PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a cause to a failure to the operator when a selective call is failed. SOLUTION: A sender station 10 sends a selective call signal S1 to a called station 20 and when the sender station 10 receives a selective call reply signal S2 to which selective call result information returned from the called station 20 is added, a selective call control means 14 discriminates a result of the selective call, and when the discrimination result indicates a negative acknowledgement NAK, a speaker 50 sounds a selective call fail tone or a display device 40 displays a notice text with respect to a reason of NAK. Furthermore, in the case that a setting time of a non response timer 13 started at the transmission of the selective call signal elapses while not receiving the selective call reply signal S2, the speaker 50 sounds a selective call no reply tone or the display device 40 displays the selective call no reply notice text. |
