PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide boarding ticket vending device/method for a passenger traffic means, which can sufficiently arouse the demand of a user who considers the low price of the fare to be an important purchase factor. SOLUTION: Boarding capacity is decided for the passenger traffic means. A boarding close time storage means 32 which previously stores the boarding close time of a prescribed service, a fare storage means 34 which previously stores the reference fare of seats being vending objects, a time grasping means 31 which grasps present time, a remaining time grasping means 33 grasping remaining time from present time to boarding time close time, a fare deciding means 40 deciding the fare so that a reduction rate from the reference fare is increased as the remaining time is less and a notice means 43 giving a notice to the user are provided. |
