PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which automatically performs a boot test of several kinds of devices that can be booted in a personal computer and finds a personal computer that has a failure in advance. SOLUTION: This system has a system BIOS 1 on which a personal computer is mounted, a boat loader that is a part of the BIOS 1, a backup memory 3 which stores boot device information that is referred to by the BIOS 1 and several kinds of boot devices 4 to 6. Any OS that is stored in each boot device has a specification which can be booted from its device, and also a test program which is operated on the OS has a function that rewrites boot device information of the memory 3. |
