PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience in the case of using a still image again in the image pickup device that picks up the still image during photographing a moving image. SOLUTION: A moving image coding circuit 5 provides an output of a moving image code 7 intermittently during photographing a moving image and when a still image is photographed during photographing a moving image, a still image coding circuit 8 outputs a still image code 9 while the moving code 7 is not outputted by a coding control processor 13 and the moving image code 7 and the still image code 9 are recorded on a recording medium 12 as separate files. |
