PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the motion of a rigid body by using a small number of accelerometers, and with a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: Respective single-axis translational accelerometers 1 to 6 are fixed to a rigid body through a base table 12. Therefore, even if an external force is applied to the rigid body, a Corioli's force is not generated. Further, six single-axis translational accelerometers 1 to 6 are put in at least three different positions with regard to the rigid body. Thus, an arithmetic processing unit 21 can carry out the arithmetic processing in which the influence of centrifugal acceleration or rotational angle acceleration included in each indivisual single-axis translational accelerometer 1 to 6 can be separated. The respective single-axis translational accelerometers 1 to 6 are on the same plane, so that its arrangement accuracy can be sufficiently obtained by considering only the positional relationship on the two-dimensional plane. Thus, the motion of a rigid body can be accurately measured with a simple arrangement. |
