PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly acquire the change formation via the change of telephone numbers and to always secure the emergency preparation and safety by produc ing both hardware and software to acquire the cut reason information and building these hardware and software into a center part of a device to construct a telephone number existence search device. SOLUTION: A telephone number existence search device consists of hardware and software. The hardware includes a physical layer 3 used for connection of an ISDN circuit, an electronic computer control layer 2 and a data input/ output device connection layer 1. when the data to be searched for are once inputted, a telephone number is read out based on the input data and dialed to receive the circuit connection states from a circuit network. The circuit states includes the facts that an existing telephone is available (1), a mobile telephone is available with a new number 'xxx' (2), the telephone is removed (3), the telephone number is wrong (4) and the telephone number is missing (5) respectively and then analyzed. The analyzed results are written into an output file.
