The invention relates to a device protecting against unauthorized entry into any room, especially to an anti-burglar door comprising a frame (1) forming a door frame or provided with permanently connected additional elements forming a door frame (17), said frame being mountable in a door opening or near it around its circumference, a door leaf (2) hinged in the door frame along an axis parallel to one of vertical edges of said door leaf, and a door lock mechanism mounted at another opposite vertical edge of the door leaf, said mechanism being connected firmly to the door leaf, and provided with at least one locking bolt (25). The door leaf (2) has a slide strip (7) mounted movably in a guiding element (8) located at and along said another vertical edge (2A) of the door leaf (2), and fastened firmly to it, and said slide strip is provided with at least one interlocking unit (9) engaging the door leaf with the frame (1) and/or door frame (17), and protecting the door leaf against unauthorized opening when in its closed position, whereas at least on locking bolt (25) of the door lock mechanism (20) is engaged with the slide strip (7). The frame is provided with formations to resist the use of a crowbar and the entrance to the lock mechanism is angled downwardly to provide weather protection and to minimise possible interference. |
