PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring device, which avoids the midnight work of a worker and avoids the preparation of the unexact data of time information caused by a misoperation. SOLUTION: At an arbitrary time, time information 7a-7n is notified from a time notifying part 6 of a monitoring part 5, which performs supervisory and control via a public line 4, through the public line 4 to monitoring devices 3a-3n for monitoring line data 1a-1n of a data communication line 2. Then, this time information is temporarily set to clocks at the host parts of the monitor devices 3a-3n. At the arbitrary time when the line data 1a-1n of the communication line 2 are interrupted, the time control parts of the monitor devices 3a-3n all at the sometime set the time information to the clocks of the line parts. |
