PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device which is of small size, simply constituted, and capable of biaxial drive. SOLUTION: A table 14 is supported on a base 12 in such a manner that the table can be freely moved in the X and Y directions. A drive unit 20 a driving frictional member 26 of which is reciprocated by expansion and contraction of a piezoelectric element 24, is supported using a rotational supporting member 30. The driving frictional member 26 is energized and joined by friction grip to the underside of the table 14, and the rotary shaft 30a of the rotational supporting member 30 is passed through the contact part between the table and the driving frictional member 26 perpendicularly to the underside of the table 14. |
