PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensively an FeCrCo bonded magnet having a superior temperature characteristic (temperature coefficient of magnetic flux density). SOLUTION: The atomized powder consists of an alloy containing 15-35% Cr, 5-20% Co, and in some cases not more than 3% Si, and, if required, contains at least one species among Ti, Al, P, W, Mo, V, and Nb, whereas the rest of the composition is iron with inevitably introduced impurites. The average diameter of the atomized powder particle is in a range of 10-200 μm. The powder is heat-treated at temperatures 550-700 deg.C for within 2 hours, and cooled down to below 480 deg.C with a rate of 2.5-17 deg.C/hour. The bonded magnet is produced by binding the atomized powder with a resin material. |
