PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the high speed page mode in the case of rotating an image by designating optionally a longitudinal/lateral size of the image to be processed so as to utilize a memory effectively. SOLUTION: An image address is divided in the unit of 2<n> ×2<m> addresses, high-order (total bit number - (n+m)) bits of an image address consisting of a prescribed bits used as a logic address are generated by an adder/subtractor 73. An in-block main scanning counter 61 counts the image in the main scanning direction in the unit of one address and n-bits among low-order (n+m) bits of the image address are outputted. An in-block subscanning counter 62 counts addresses in the unit of one address in the subscanning direction to provide an output of m-bits among the low-order (n+m) bits of the image address. |
