PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration due to heat of an electric double layer capacitor, by a method wherein a plurality of electric double layer capacitors are received in a capacitor box shielding heat. SOLUTION: A power source device 1 is structured by receiving a plurality of electric double layer capacitors (modules) 2 in a capacitor box 3. This capacitor box 3 has a heat insulating property made of a synthetic resin, and is structured of a main body 4 and a lid body 5 covering the main body 4. A gap between respective modules 2 and a gap between the capacitor box 3 and the respective modules are filled with a thermal medium such as oil or the like. Thereby, even if a temperature difference occurs between the respective modules 2, heat of the module 2 high in a temperature is diffused to the other modules 2 low in a temperature by the thermal medium, and a temperature difference between the respective modules 2 can be promptly uniformized. Accordingly, a deterioration is prevented by heat of each cell, and sufficient performance can be displayed as a power source. |
