Tooth edge guide construction in a saw for adjacent tooth edges, which comprises tooth edge guide elements 1 supporting adjacent tooth edges, the said tooth edge guide element comprising a frame 2 supported on the saw, a slot 3 in the frame for the tooth edge, a tooth space 4 in the slot and wider than the latter for the teeth of the tooth edge and bearing surfaces 5 in the slot, between which the tooth edge is supported. In addition to the tooth space 4, the frames 2 of adjacent tooth edge guide elements, comprise locating reinforcements 6 extending between one another, and between the reinforcements free spaces 7 for corresponding reinforcements of adjacent tooth edge guide elements. <IMAGE>
