PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image input/output device capable of automatically informing a control center of an error generated in the image input/output device, so as to automatically inform a user of a processing method corresponding to the error of which the control center is informed. SOLUTION: In the image input/output device having functions such as a scanner, a network and FAX, when an error information control part 5 detects the generation of the error to be reported, an informing means control part 4 informs the control center 9 through a communication control part 6 by using a proper informing means such as the FAX. The control server 10 of the control center 9 analyzes the contents of the error and prepares information including the processing method corresponding to the error, a required part list, etc., to inform the image input/output device side of the information by using a communication means such as the FAX. |
