PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish R/F conversion within a set time by designating the number of pulses of a first oscillation circuit, counting the number of pulses of a second oscillation circuit by means of a first counter and measuring the time required for oscillating the designated number of pulses by means of a second counter. SOLUTION: Oscillation of a first CR oscillation circuit is started by a CR oscillation control circuit 4 and then counting of a time base counter 2 and a measurement counter 3 is started. Oscillation of the first CR oscillation circuit is stopped at a moment of time when the count of the counter 2 reaches a value preset in a conveyor register 12 and the measurement counter 3 initialize a reference register 13 by storing a residual value therein. Subsequently, oscillation of a second CR oscillation circuit is started and negative counting and counting of the time base counter 2 and the measurement counter 3 are started. Oscillation of the second CR oscillation circuit is stopped at a moment of time when the count of the counter 2 goes 0 and the residual value of the measurement counter 3 is compared with the value of the reference register 13 thus determining the ratio of resistance between resistive elements 10, 11. |
