PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical product having both of a defogging effect and an antireflection effect and excellent durability of these effects, and to provide an optical instrument which does not produce dew condensation when the optical product above described is assembled. SOLUTION: This optical product has a water-absorbing layer on a transparent substrate, and has a porous inorg. film layer on the water-absorbing layer. The porous inorg. film layer consists of, from the water-absorbing layer side, a hydrophilic inorg. layer to improve the adhesion property with the water- absorbing layer, an inorg. layer to improve the adhesion property with the hydrophilic inorg. layer, an inorg. layer having low refractive index to give an antireflection function, and an inorg. layer to increase the surface hardness. |
