PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a planographic printing plate having printing resistance and high ink repellency, ensuring a wide acceptable range of dampening water and capable of making dampening water free from isopropanol by containing fine silicone particles into a hydrophilic swellable layer as an ink repellent layer. SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate has a hydrophilic swellable layer an ink repellent layer on the substrate and the hydrophilic swellable layer contains fine silicone particles. The fine silicone particles are preferably fine particles of an elastic body of silicone rubber. The pref. particle diameter of the fine particles is 0.1-10μm, in particular 0.1-5μm. The pref. amt. of the fine particles in the hydrophilic swellable layer is 2-50 wt.%, in particular 5-30 wt.%. The silicone rubber preferably has functional groups such as hydroxyl or amino groups. |
