摘要 The invention refers to an eight-leg walking platform used mainly in the field of robots, in order to transport and handle weights or objects in rough or hardly accessible areas. The walking platform is made up of two shafts (5 and 6) that are synchronously driven by an engine (2) by means of a chain transmission (3 and 4). On each corner of the platform there are some propelling devices (A) which drive, also synchronously, four pairs of legs (7 and 8). Each propelling device (A) contains a driving disk (9) which is rigidly attached to the end of the shafts (5 and 6) and is penetrated by two horizontal arms (e and f) The arms (e and f) are connected to the legs (7 and 8) which rest on a profiled surface (h) that is mounted on a spatial cam (12) attached to the corners of the frame (1).
