摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight acceleration sensor capable of detecting acceleration with high accuracy by arranging a circuit board on the side of a sensor section, and providing positioning sections between the sensor section and a support member and between the support member and a base respectively. SOLUTION: A flexible member 21 and a piezoelectric element 23 are positioned and fixed when the linear portions of their outer peripheries are guided by guide sections 24a, 24b. Eight detecting electrodes 25 are formed on the upper face of the piezoelectric element 23, and an electrode 26 is formed on the lower face. A sensor section 20 is constituted of the flexible member 21, the piezoelectric element 23, and a heavy bob body 27. A base 41 is arranged so that its longitudinal direction is made parallel with the direction of the X-axis. Electronic components are mounted on a circuit board 43 to form the detecting circuit of an acceleration sensor. When the circuit board 43 is arranged on the side of the sensor section 20, the acceleration sensor can be made small-sized and low in height. Positioning sections are provided between the sensor section 20 and a support member 24 and between the support member 24 and the base 41, the angular drift between the detection axis and the sensor section 20 is reduced, and detection accuracy is increased.
