PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the device configuration and to make the size small and the weight light for the device. SOLUTION: The uninterruptible power supply device 1 that transmits power to a CATV transmission line to supply power to a device inserted in the CATV transmission line is provided with a step-down transformer 13 that receives a commercial AC power and transforms its voltage into a prescribed AC voltage, a battery 11 that stores power, a charging device 10 that receives the commercial AC power to charge the battery 11, a DC chopper 20 that converts an output of the battery 11 into a power subject to single pole pulse width control so as to widen the pulse width in response to the reduction in the output voltage of the battery 11, and a changeover device 14 that selects the AC power outputted from the step-down transformer 13 to be sent to the CATV transmission line 15 while the commercial AC power is supplied and the power outputted from a converter to be sent to the CATV transmission line 15 when the supply of the commercial AC power is stopped. |
