<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the running load of a magnetic tape by stabilizing the air layer generated between the magnetic tape on a rotary drum and the rotary drum under rotation over the whole within the winding area of the magnetic tape to the rotary drum. SOLUTION: A projected part 8 is provided on an upper side drum 4 which is the rotary drum, and a tent pitching part 9 is generated on the magnetic tape 2 by this projected part 8 and also arranged so that a foot 9a of the tent pitching part 9 comes in contact with the upper end part 2a of the breadthwise direction of the magnetic tape 2 at the position A. At the position A, an air window is made to form on the tent pitching part 9 of the magnetic tape 2, then the magnetic tape 2 is floated by making the air flow into the space of the tent pitching part 9 from this air window.</p> |
