PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable dynamic input operation using the whole body of an operator by using a piezoelectric element which generates a potential corresponding to movement perpendicular to the plate surface of a substrate, obtaining a displacement quantity from its voltage through a binarizing or multi-valuing process, and using it as a control signal. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric speaker 11 is fitted by using a fitting pin 14 while floated over a printed board 13 at a specific interval. The piezoelectric speaker 11 generates a potential corresponding to movement perpendicular to the surface of the printed board 13 and its output is sent out to a band-pass filter, which extracts a specific frequency component. The extracted signal is amplified and converted into the control signal through the binarizing or multi-valuing process. Consequently, a positive or negative binarized or multi- valued signal appear at an output terminal. Consequently, when the device is used as an input device for a computer game, etc., the user enjoys the game by using the whole body as the user gets excited. |
