PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the password input method which can easily improve security since arbitrary key input times (by blocks) can be set without increasing the number of characters of a password by monitoring an arbitrary input time. SOLUTION: The password is inputted (step S1) and after password input by key input (step S2), the characters (string) are checked (step S3) by using a master file; and a key input time set in the master file is checked (step S4) and when the check ends normally (if within the time of a key input time permissible range), access to data is allowed (step S5). If abnormality is obtained by checking the key input time although the checked characters are normal, the access to the data is disabled (step S6). |
