The fuel cell has modularly constructed gas supply, comprising gas tight sleeve (20,21) and two structured inserts (22,23). The inserts contact surfaces of electrodes (6,7) facing away from an electrolyte (2). The fuel cell has a pair of flat electrodes which are located opposite one another with the electrolyte between them. Each electrode has one main surface facing the electrolyte and one main surface facing away. A gas supply (10) surrounds the electrolyte-electrode pair arrangement in gas tight fashion and has flow channels (16) for supplying different gases to the surfaces of the electrodes facing away from the electrolyte. The gas supply is constructed in modular fashion, comprising the gas tight sleeve and the two structured inserts that are in contact mechanically with the surfaces of the electrodes facing away from the electrolyte. An Independent claim is also included for a fuel cell arrangement with several consecutively arranged fuel cells. Two consecutive sleeves are formed as a double sleeve. |
