<p>A tire inner-liner, comprising a solid rubber and a complex, said complex comprising a reactive rubber and a layered silicate clay uniformly dispersed therein. The complex comprising the clays significantly improve the low air permeability of the tire inner-liner without adversely affecting the rubber composition.</p>
