Verfahren sowie Anlage zur thermischen Trennung einer Wasser-/Ölemulsion

In a thermal process to separate an emulsion of oil and water, the mixture is first heated to between 45 and 55 degrees C in a vessel. Air is then introduced into the vessel and blown as bubbles through the emulsion, resulting in evaporation of water. The evaporated water is drawn of to a condenser with air. Following condensation of the water, the air is returned through a pipe to the vessel, circulating within a closed circuit. Following separation of the condensate, and before the air is returned to the vessel as bubbles, the air is heated to between 45 and 55 degrees C and dried to a moisture content of 15 to 30 %. A heat pump is employed to heat the emulsion mixture and condense the water vapour. The air is heated by a separate heating element. Also claimed is an appropriate assembly.
