Cargo net for rear of vehicle

A cargo net, or similar flexible sheet, is rolled on a support reel (6) fitted behind the tops of the rear seats. The upper edge of the net is attached to ties (12) which are looped over roof-mounted rollers (13) and to a tensioner (11) powered by a pyrolytic charge. This is activated by the collision sensors to deploy the net and prevent any luggage being thrown forwards into the passenger compartment.
