Piston for linear drive

The piston is a double ended piston slider (14) moving in a bore in the drive sealed by a flexible strip (17) pressed under a slot (13) through which part of the slider protrudes. The sealing strip is lifted away from the slot by a curved centre section of the slider's body. This is a separate section (27) containing the curved guide (24) and sealed into the slider by an all round seal. The curved guide is concave with respect to the slot, and is formed separate to the pistons. It has a sleeve shape secured into the extruded separate section comprising the central part of the slider.
