Infinitely variable friction gear for e.g. vehicles

An infinitely variable friction drive gear has a housing (1) , an input shaft (3), a torque shaft (34), two input discs (5, 15) with toroidal inner surfaces and two output discs (6, 16) with toroidal inner surfaces. The input and output discs are paired, with one of each type in each pair. The two output discs are arranged in a mirror position of each other. Several friction wheels transfer torque from the input disc to the output disc. An output shaft (10) and gear wheels (8, 9) are positioned between the output disc and output shaft. The gear housing (1) has a detachable support frame (2) which has an overhead cross- frame (28), a lower cross-frame (29) and a tub-shaped bearing support (7). The lower frame (29) has a recess (45). The output shaft (10) rotates resting on a bearing (32).
