The sensor mounting sleeve (11) is attached to a preferably plastics plate (1) in the vehicle. The plastics plate has an attachment fitting (3) molded in one piece with it. The sleeve is mounted on the attachment fitting and connected to it with a non-removable joint, preferably a weld.
