Automotive gear box actuator between bearing element and planetary support

An automotive gear box converts a rotational movement on a first shaft (22) to a counter-motion on a second shaft (28). The gear box has a housing (26) to which is fixed an internal planetary support (1), two planets (2,3,10,11) which intermesh with a sun wheel (32) on the first shaft and a sun wheel (34) on the second shaft. A bearing element (4) is fixed to and rotates with respect to the planetary support. The positioning planet (10,11) axis (13,14) is supported by the bearing element. The fixed planet (2,3) axis (12,14) is secured to the housing (1). An actuator (6,7) is located between the planetary support and bearing element, and pushes the bearing element against the planetary support as required.
