The connector (SB) has a moulded resin housing (GT) with its edge contour adjacent the housing wall (BW) in which the connector is fitted. This is enclosed by a deflector plate (DB) which is welded to a sheet metal mounting frame (BD). The connector housing may have a triangular, oval or round edge contour incorporating three threaded fixing bores (GB) for fixing screws securing the inserted plug contact.
