To control the weight of a fibre paper or cardboard web, at least one control circuit (I) sets the concentration of at least one pulp fed to the stock inlet and at least one further control circuit (II) sets the concentration of the pulp fed to the stock inlet. Also claimed is a process control operation, where the web weight is monitored directly or indirectly in front of the drying section, for a second control circuit.
