A locking unit is claimed for a pivoting section (12) turning about an axis (14) of the equipment frame (10). It is especially suitable for the filling hopper (12) of a sausage filling machine (F). On either the hopper or the frame, there is a locking catch which can be turned back and forth, from an opening position to a locking position. This is held by a locking bolt (28) in the locked position. The novelty is that the locking bolt does not rotate. At least in the engaging region of the locking catch, on the bolt, there is an intermediate section which rotates on the bolt axis. |
