PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent inhibitor against methane synthesis at the rumen of a ruminant, or an improver excellent in propionic acid synthesis. SOLUTION: This feed composition for inhibiting methane synthesis or promoting propionic acid synthesis for a ruminant is obtained by adding an agent for inhibiting the methane synthesis or promoting the propionic acid synthesis, and containing fumaric acid as an active ingredient in the feed. |
