PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shrinkage fit type tool holder having a sufficient holding force and capable of flexibly coping with commercial tools. SOLUTION: The shrinkage fit type tool holder is made up of a connection part 2 to machine tools, a manipulator holding part 3, and a toil holding member 6 for fixing the shank of a carbide tool by shrinkage fitting. The tool holding member 6 is made of at least a special steel having an austenitic structure reinforced by precipitation hardening or work hardening. |
