PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a handy designing by housing a sterilizing agent having an isothiocyanate based compound packed with cyclodextrine and an adsorbent adapted to adsorb the isothiocyanate volatilized from the sterilize into a container to allow accurately sterilize even in a smaller space. SOLUTION: A sterilizer box 1 has a container 4 made up of the body 2 of a container and a bottom plate 3. The sterilizer box 1 houses into a container 4 a sterilizing agent 5 formed by packing an isothiocyanate based compound with cyclodextrine and an adsorbent 6 adapted to adsorb the isothiocyanate based compound volatilized from the sterilizing agent 5. As a result, the isothiocyanate based compound is volatilized outside the container 4, for example, by arranging the container 4 under a higher humidity or by addition of water thereto to prevent the breeding mildews and bacteria and develop antibacterial action thereby accomplishing the removal of germs in a space where the container 4 is placed. The adsorption of the volatile component by the adsorbent 6 also makes the surrounding space odorless.
