PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily polish an annular recess between disks, to surely remove abrasives or the like in an inner and outer circumferential surfaces, and conduct uniform and smooth brush polishing of high quality without impairing working accuracy in the inner and outer circumferential surfaces in a condition that a large number of information storage medium disks such as glass hard disks are layered. SOLUTION: A large number of disks are layered to drive rotationally as a one body, a polishing brush is vibrated with a fine stroke along an axis while being rotated, so as to polish an outer or inner circumferential surface while being oscillated by a larger stroke than that of the fine stroke. A contact area of the brush with a work is increased to enhance polishing efficiency by arranging a rotational axis of the polishing brush 13 in a position eccentric from a rotational axis of the layered works 120. |
