PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of Acanthopanax Sieboldianum tea almost free from decrease of SOD (superoxide dismutase: an enzyme mainly produced in animal body) like active component of leaves of Acanthopanax Sieboldianum, having a stronger eliminating activity to oxygen radical than the leaves have. SOLUTION: The production process comprises, 1, heat treatment process; heating the leaves at about 100 deg.C for some ten seconds, 2, drying process; drying the leaves by cool wind or freeze drying, 5, extracting process; extracting by hot water of about 90 deg.C for some minutes, 6, filtration process, 7, mixing process; adding and mixing an antioxidant, 8, sealing process; packing and sealing the products, 9, heat sterilizing process; heating at about 120 deg.C for some minutes after the sealing process or before the sealing process. |
