PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a beverage containing a chlorella extract having readily and effectively carried out the masking of an offensive smell based on chorella and to provide a method for producing the beverage containing a chlorella extract capable of inexpensively producing the beverage containing the while cholera extract having readily and effectively carried out the masking of an offensive smell based on chlorella by a single operation. SOLUTION: This beverage containing a chlorella extract having readily and effectively carried out the making of an offensive smell based on chlorella contains a cyclodextrin. A branched cyclodextrin is preferable as the cyclodextrin. The beverage containing chlorella extract is obtained by adding a branched cyclodextrin to an extracted solution of chlorella, adding a sweetener, a spice, an acidulant and at least one selected from raw materials for producing beverage and mixing with stirring. In this case, specific the concentration of the chlorella extract corresponds to 10-300 (OD260 ) intensity of absorbance at 260 nm wave length of a spectrophotometer and the concentration of the cyclodextrin is 0.3-30 wt.%. |
